Smiling Elf Cross Stitch - Completed

I stitched a smiling elf today. It was a pretty quick project that I stitched in between chores so it probably would have only taken about two hours total to complete.

Merry Christmas Santa

Today's project is this cute little Santa telling everyone Merry Christmas. I worked three days this week and finished this one on Friday evening. I usually get about 50 minutes during my workday to stitch if I plan it right. Ten minutes before work, ten minutes on my morning and afternoon breaks, and around twenty minutes on my lunch break. At night I might can squeeze in thirty minutes to an hour of stitching.

Vacation Cross Stitch Finished Projects

Well, it was a busy time back home but I did manage to cross stitch a few ornaments.

First, we have the penguin sliding down the mountain. This one took me all day Saturday at the airport and on the plane and I finished it on Monday morning.

Second, I cross stitched a reindeer head with NOEL connecting the antlers. This was a pretty quick project which I finished on Tuesday.

Third, is Santa ice skating, I finished this one on the trip back home on Monday.

Somewhere in between, I finished a project I had started years ago on "Sand Island, AL" lighthouse, which I won't post here since it's not Christmas related.

It was a great week visiting with family and friends with a bonus of three completed cross stitched ornaments.

Christmas Ornament Kits by Mary Engelbreit - Finished

I bought two Mary Engelbreit cross stitch kits from Michael's for 99 cents each this past Christmas. I never got around to stitching them until this week. I finished both this week and they turned out pretty good.

Cross-Stitch Christmas Ornament - Uh-Oh! Santa

My eighth stitching project and final for a while. I haven't found the next design I want to stitch and I'm kinda bored with the stitching.

But this one is stitched on Red Aida 14-count fabric and is a Santa Claus trying to either fit down the chimney or squeeze out of the chimney. At the bottom Uh-Oh! is stitched.

Cross-Stitched Christmas Ornament - North Pole Post

My seventh stitching project for this Christmas.

This one is stitched on White Aida 14-count fabric. It is North Pole Post by Reindeer and has Santa's face stitched in the middle of a postage stamp design.

This one took a little longer because of several color changes and the stitched design size is a little larger than the ones I have stitched recently.

Ready for the Slopes

I completed the second stitching project for this Christmas. I figure I'll stitch a bunch up then I sit down at one time to make the ornaments. I can stitch on my lunch hour at work and at my break times.

This one is stitched on Christmas Green Aida 14-count fabric. It is a penguin with snow falling around him and he is holding snow sticks. He is wearing a Christmas Santa hat and wearing a green scarf. I actually started and finished this one in two days.

Christmas Mouse by Candlelight

I cross-stitched this years first Christmas ornament. Well I haven't made it into an ornament yet but it'll happen.

It's a Christmas mouse sitting beside a candle. It was a kit I picked up sometime throughout history and one of those projects I began and put down because I had the need to move on. But the stitching is complete and I just need to make it into a cute ornament for the tree.
